The City That Never Sleeps...

...aka the "big apple"...aka Manhatten...aka New York City. I've said this before and I'll say it again: I love New York! I was fortunate enough to get to go to NYC for a few days towards the end of October (I left only days before the storm hit). I had an incredible time exploring even more of the city, while killing my feet in the process. That's what NYC is all about! To enjoy the beautiful fall weather, I spent an afternoon by this stream that I found, quite close to my house. It's pretty relaxing there. 

 

 

 

Kitchener Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope

Just about 2 weeks ago, on Sunday September 9, I volunteered my time for the Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope in Kitchener!  I had such a great time and was happy to help a good cause. Everyone was so friendly and glad to be there. A lot of money was raised for a good cause and hopefully next year they raise even more!

Nature in Nova Scotia

I've been to Halifax many times, but I never stop loving it. It's absolutely gorgeous there and all of the locals are so friendly. I went this past July and luckily the weather was great! Most of these photos were taken at Halifax Public Gardens; a wonderous place filled with flowers and ponds. It's basically a mini Central Park, but in Halifax.
 

 

The Prom Dress

Back in the summer, I did a photo shoot with my best buddy, Rachel. She's wearing her beautiful prom dress that resemblea a wedding gown. She was a joy to shoot (as always) and I got SO many great photos. Lucky for us, the rain didn't start until we were finished, but we were prepared with our umbrellas (Wouldn't want to get that dress wet). Also, let me just say to all the people to lost their lives 11 years ago today: may you rest in peace. You'll never be forgotten. ♥

The Big Apple!

For as long as I can remember I've dreamed of going to New York City.  This past May, my dream finally came true! I had such an incredible time there, it was so surreal!! My camera literally never left my neck, aside from the 7 hours of sleep I'd get each night. Times Square was fantastic and always filled with people.  We also went to the Empire State Building, Central Park, went to Good Morning America (and met Lara Spencer and Josh Elliot - both very nice!), saw The Lion King and other stuff. I had the time of my life and took hundreds of photos. Over 800 to be exact. In 3 days. Yup.
